Peptonic’s patent application is approved in the US as first country

Peptonic Medical AB (publ) today announced that the application to patent its intimate cleanser in US will be approved on June 20th2023, this according to information from the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office).

The global intimate cleanser market is ca 1.2 billion USD growing at an annual rate of ca 3,5%. Somewhat simplified the market constitutes of soaps and oils. With soaps there is a risk of disturbing the vaginal microflora possibly leading to dryness and vaginal infections, with oils there is a challenge to cleanse water soluble impurities. Peptonics intimate cleanser is positioned in between. Based on the company’s clinically proven vaginal gel and a Nordic botanical oil VagiVital Moisturizing V Cleanser allows cleansing of both water and oil soluble impurities without disturbing the microflora. In parallel Peptonics patented cleanser moisturizes the intimate area and it is recommended by gynecologists.
