Peptonic Medical AB (publ) (“Peptonic”) today announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement regarding VagiVital’s amniotic leak self-test with Savyon Diagnostics (“Savyon”) for the Israeli market.
VagiVital AL is Peptonic’s patented self-test that makes it possible to detect leaking amniotic fluid during pregnancy in case of perceived unidentified fluid leakage.
“The need for and interest in VagiVital’s amniocentesis self-test continues to grow, and we are pleased with this important agreement with Savyon. Thanks to their strong position in distribution to clinics and hospitals, we get an important partner on site in Israel”, said Erik Sundquist, CEO of Peptonic Medical.
The agreement extends over three years with the possibility of extension, and the test will be sold under Savyon’s own brand. A first order has already been placed and will be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year.
